Northwood Crusaders

Enviro Fixers in collaboration with Northwood Crusaders have been working hard at establishing walking trails for the enjoyment  of trail runners, walkers and Dog walkers. Some lovely paths have been cut and we encourage members to get out and enjoy nature and exercise.

Crusaders will maintain the upkeep of these wonderful trails. We ask that all participants recognize that Crusaders is a sports club and relies on our community's support.

 

So please become a Dog walking member if you aren't already as it helps support maintaining the trails. Please keep Dogs on leash, Crusaders is primarily a sports facility and dogs must be under control at all times. Please collect your dog's excrement. Bags are provided. It is the right thing to do. Dog waste is a health hazard to people playing sport or enjoying the trails. Please get out and enjoy the trails, over 200 indigenous trees and shrubs have been planted and the alien removal programme continues. Leave your or all over the trails.

A big shout out to Darryn of Bo's Plant and Tool Hire for the use of the equipment to clear the area. Big thanks also to Dave Nielsen and Dave Patterson for their skill, time and expertise. Dave Nielsen has cut some lovely tracks for walkers and dogs to appreciate the Community Park and Dave Patterson was a great help engaging with Isaac, the hero of the day, who so skilfully drove the equipment. Everyone working together and playing their part.
